This book would make Bukowski smirk...brave prose from an unabashedly intriguing wanderer. Perfect for the sojourner...the romantic...And the dirty old man in all of us. Absolutely great work.
This is the perfect read for when you're in the park on a Sunday afternoon. I chuckled several times from Jeff's observations because I've thought the same about several things. Great book of musings and poems.
Cynical and romantic, balls-out funny and wry. The poems here wittily capture the freewheeling spirit of an American freed and searching for the next wonderful thing, whether it be a sunset, a drinking session, or a woman.
I hope the author donates his brain to science and maybe we will better understand what makes him so unique and interesting! I felt like I was on a series of adventures while reading Jack Wonka. This book gives you light and darkness but consistently entertains the mind. Excited to see what comes out of Jeff Zettel's brilliant mind next!
It's hard to describe this collection of poems. The honesty and rawness of it all is perplexing and can feel quite intriguing. These poems contain the thoughts that many have had but very few dare to admit or put into words. I thoroughly enjoyed reading these poems and going through Jeff's mind for a bit. Also, apparently being a stewardess has many more perks that I never knew about. )
